PRESS RELEASE: BRENTWOOD, Tenn., (11/25/2013) – ReDoc Software (ReDoc), the leader in therapy documentation and management solutions, announced today that Ann Shafer has been appointed as Clinical Product Owner and Design Specialist
“Since joining ReDoc in 2003, Ann has been a strong member of the implementation team, as she is an experienced physical therapist with a decade of expertise in implementation of ReDoc’s suite of products and customer relations. Her promotion is a logical evolution and she will be a significant addition to the product design team,” said Ron Reed, PTA, MSHI, CSPO Vice President Product Design of ReDoc Software.
In her new role, Shafer will be responsible for analyzing and designing clinical components used in current and developing software, as well as assisting with the planning for and conducting of beta testing processes. Additionally, she will serve as a clinical liaison for the product design and development divisions of ReDoc.
Shafer’s previous experience as Director of Compliance and Outcomes and Clinical Advisor for ReDoc has provided the foundational knowledge and understanding of the customer experience to equip her for the challenges of her new role.
Prior to joining ReDoc, Shafer served as a Physical Therapist in Nashville, Tenn., for Amedisys Home Health, St. Thomas Health Services and Vanderbilt Bill Wilkerson Center. Previously, she held various senior level physical therapist roles for two Chattanooga, Tenn.-based outpatient hospital rehab centers, Siskin Hospital for Rehabilitation and Erlanger Hospital.

Shafer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Georgia State University in Atlanta. Additionally, Shafer has held numerous leadership roles with industry associations including the American Physical Therapy Association and the Tennessee Physical Therapy Association.
