NRI delegates Canadian MP’s,Premier Alberta,urged to Join PPCC, Anti-Drug, Million Punjab March-Bajwa IOC.

Vancouver BC. False promises on NRI real estate resolutions, fast track courts, Investment were avoided by the Government.

Indian Overseas Congress, FIIA, Punjab Canadian Foundation, Association of Physicians of America, NRI’s against Drugs, Punjab Youth , have joined the call for Punjab Bandh, given by Partap Bajwa President Punjab Pradesh Congress, on January 16th, 2014, against the Governments failure to control the drugs, which has serious repercussions on the health and education of Punjab Youth.

Overseas Friends of BJP, will join us in the march, confirmed Secretary Vijay Goyal.

IOC President Vikram Bajwa handed a 20 point Agenda to Minister of Overseas Indian Affairs, Vyalar Ravi, highlighting the demands of NRI’s, including request Advisor P.M. Sam Pitroda, to make the issue of “drugs”, in his “knowledge City”, concept, so India can emerge a superpower, and lead a World campaign against drugs. We also request the visiting Premier Alberta Ms. Alison Redford, who is scheduled to visit Golden temple on January 14, to share her views and support us on this “Anti-Drug”, bandh in Punjab, said Vikram Bajwa. Our Canadian M.P.’s who advocate against drugs in Alberta, should not leave Punjab, at the conclusion of NRI Sammelan,their trip paid for by the Punjab Government, but join in the real issues concerning Punjab, if they are serious to build bridges, between Canada and India, said President Punjab Canadian Foundation Sukhbir Sandhu.

M.P. Minister Information and Broadcasting Manish Tewari, rightly advised the Punjab Govt., to wake up to the problems of NRI’s and Punjab and not act like a “pigeons” of Punjab.
