LIGHTNING RELEASES: Kennebunkport, ME (1/12/2013) – We’ve all heard the horror stories of people who were unable to retire because they didn’t plan. Indeed, successfully building for retirement requires consistent planning; starting as young as possible puts time on your side. It should be used.
Certified financial planner William Leffler is dedicated to helping clients create a retirement vision and plan that sets them on the right path as early as possible. Leffler is vice president of Moneywatch Advisors, Inc., a fee-only registered investment advisor providing financial planning services since 1980.
“When we look at an investment, we look to see if it’s an appropriate investment for you,” says Leffler. “We do a lot of hand-holding that allows a client to feel secure in their financial setting.”
By determining the client’s needs in terms of income, preservation of capital and capital appreciation, Leffler and the Moneywatch team develop and implement an appropriate investment strategy for each client, after which they are provided with ongoing advice on investments and other matters of concern, consistent with their individual needs and financial objectives.
“We get very personal with our clients so we know what they’re doing and they know why we’re doing what we’re doing,” says Leffler. “We have clients all over the country and they know how we function and I know what their needs are because there’s a good amount of communication between us. This is an ongoing, 30-40 year collaboration.”
According to Leffler, everyone needs a financial planner. Clients of his who once couldn’t afford to replace their broken refrigerator are now worth millions of dollars. It’s that level of commitment and hand-holding that’s allowed his clients to enter their retirement years financially secure.
“I’m most proud of the personal relationships our firm has with our clients,” says Leffler. “The focus is on what the client needs. It’s really that simple.”
