PRESS RELEASE (10/18/2013) – Restaurant & Bakery Maison Giraud’s latest installment in Chef Alain Giraud’s monthly Four Star Dinner series will be an homage to renowned Los Angeles restaurant Bastide. To honor the beloved restaurant, Chef Giraud will recreate the food that brought Bastide an unprecedented four stars from the L.A. Times while he was at the helm.
This one-night-only event will be held on Thursday, October 24th, 2013. The seven-course tasting menu will include such Bastide signature dishes as Maryland Crab Salad with Muscat Gelée and Lamb Filet in Black Olive Sauce. A wine pairing will also be offered. “Bastide was a dream come true. We achieved the four most important elements in a restaurant: magnificent service, food, wine, and décor. I am thrilled to bring back some of these beautiful memories and unique cuisine for the night,” says Giraud.
