LIGHTNING RELEASES 02/10/2014 – Clarksburg, MD – Leo Jozef Suenens once said, “Happy are those who dream dreams and are ready to pay the price to make them come true.” But how do we move from mere existence to personal abundance, both in our careers and our relationships?
Enrique Ruiz is the author of Wishers, Washer, Wishy-Washy. The book allows readers to create an action plan for where they want to go and how to get there.
“Sometime between childhood and adulthood we get this notion that the world defines us,” says Enrique. “You need to retain that sense of pursuit for what you want to achieve and one day you’ll prove everyone wrong.”
According to Enrique, there are three kinds of people: wishers, washers and wishy-washys. We all start off as wishers, but when we don’t invest our time to do what we want to do, we end up wishing backward with regret. Wishy-washys are in between: they know what they want but aren’t willing to make the necessary sacrifices to achieve it.
But then there are those people who give life to their ideas. These are the Washers.
“Water is such a soft, pliable material and yet it has so much power,” explains Enrique. “Washers are the people who can wash away the obstacles and give life to their ideas: those are the ones who succeed.”
And the same commitment to sacrifice that allows us to achieve our professional goals should also extend to our relationships. Lost Love, a collaboration between Enrique and his wife Sarah, is a book for couples to rekindle their relationship.
“There are many books out there on relationships but their audience is primarily women. Men aren’t so keen to read these books,” explains Sarah. “But how do you get back to that place where you’re feeling connected as one? The information in our book is presented very simply like proverbs and everyone who has read it has said they can relate to something we’ve written to better communicate with their spouse.”
Lost Love offers readers a strategy behind fix what’s not right and make what’s right even better. Like Wisher, Washer, Wishy-Washy, the books help motivate you and hold you accountable.
“These are practical books with the ability to actually change lives,” says Sarah. “I’m proud of the impact we can have.”
