Today the old-school approach is getting a modern touch as Granite Gold’s customer service program – an in-house staff, not a contracted call center – is going proactive with the launch of Ask The Experts.
In addition to calling 800-475-STONE or sending an email to StoneCareExperts@GraniteGold, customers can submit their questions on Granite Gold’s Facebook and Twitter pages. Ask The Experts is also a prominent feature on Granite Gold’s revised website, and the Ask The Experts icon will be a visible feature promoting the program on packaging and promotional material.
Common daily questions range from which granite cleaner works best; how to clean granite; how to clean tile; how to clean stone floors; removing water spots, stains and soap scum; and the complex like what to do about etching and cleaning soot from fireplace mantles. These questions will often become content for Granite Gold’s blog, The Gold Standard, which is distributed to subscribers twice monthly and is also posted on social media platforms. Recent topics include grout cleaning, shower cleaning, and how to seal granite and other natural stone.
“Sharing our advice and knowledge about stone has been subtle the last decade. It grew on its own through word of mouth, and now we’re advocating it and encouraging customers to come to us with their questions and challenges they have about their stone surfaces,” said Sciarrino.
